The Nessmuk is classic design, named after the pseudonym of George W Sears, author of the renowned 'Woodcraft'. It was originally designed to be used for skinning and slicing meat.
For my take on the classic Nessmuk knife, I've made it a bit longer than normal. It chops well, whilst still being nimble enough for all of the usual bushcraft tasks, and yet is light enough for prolonged use
